We are a group of 8 like minded teens who want to incite positive change in our community and others like it. Our mission is to help teens prepare for life on their own., and to achieve that goal we’ve created this website, planned ice cream socials, field trips, and created a brochure all for you. Even though these plans may seem separate they are all weaved together. We work under Local Circles and are led by Nicole Jurek who functions as both our boss and our mentor. We do action research that’s geared towards helping teens prepare for life on their own.

About Us
We do action research that’s geared towards helping teens prepare for life on their own. Before we came to Local Circles we had no idea what action research was but Nicole taught us and now we’re using what we learned to teach you. Many of the things that Nicole taught us will be included alongside many of the learned concepts that we applied in order to carry out our mission. Over the course of 6 weeks we were taught and learned research methodology, financial literacy, time management, and many other useful real world concepts. Much of it will be discussed as you read on
