Get to Know Us

We are the Young Advocates. We work under Local Circles which is a non-profit organization that creates youth leadership opportunities. It offers a team-based approach for college and work readiness in Detroit. The mission of Local Circles is to facilitate  youth-led research in which young people pose their own questions and conduct research to inquire upon social issues that are meaningful to them. And our social issue was teens being unprepared for life on their own.
